Shoulder Arthroscopy

Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses a 4mm camera to assist with surgery. Rather than make a large incision to open the shoulder, surgeons can put a camera through a small poke hole (portal) and see inside the shoulder.

Shoulder Impingement

Impingement syndrome is when there is a decrease in the subacromial space and the rotator cuff tendon abuts or rubs along the roof of the shoulder (acromion or coracoacromial ligament) with arm elevation or internal rotation.
